Born in Queens to Korean parents, Jennivere is first generation Korean American. From an early age Jennivere had a strong passion for the arts. She took tap, jazz and ballet classes throughout her childhood as well as piano lessons, art classes and made costumes for church plays. Jennivere worked two jobs after school as soon as she was of legal age to find employment. I’ve been cosplaying for around two and a half years – before that I was always hovering around the scene as I never had the courage to. The turning point was when I turned 21 and thought – why not? It may sound cliched, but it did change my life.
