Quin SinKitten is an artist. She loves creating art in all forms: painting, drawing, designing, creating fashions and crafts, acting, modeling, etc. Modeling is her way of expressing visual emotions that people can follow without using words. She loves doing a photo shoot that tells a story, that invokes feelings and a reaction. She wants to shock and entice the viewer.

Quinn has been modeling since 2003. She attended Barbazon Modeling School. She is very versatile and can do both runway and print modeling. She does everything from Goth to brightly colored photo shoots to fetish and bondage shoots. She loves elaborate costumes, hair and makeup.

She has 18 piercings: 6 in each ear, eyebrow, nose, both sides of my lip: snakebites, tongue, and belly button. She also has a few tattoos and plans on getting more: Dragon wings on her shoulder blades, a Triquetra on the inner curve of her right hip, a Celtic heart on the inner curve of her left hip and a tiny dragon on her right ankle.

Quinnula, it is a pleasure to meet you. You do so many things but one of your main businesses is making and selling custom and pre-made dread falls. Can you tell us a little about your dread falls and your business?

I make and sell dread falls and individual dreads. I sell pre-made sets but I can also make you a completely custom set, made just to your liking. I make my dreads out of synthetic colored hair. Prices vary due to type, thickness, and length. I am constantly modeling my dread falls at conventions and dance clubs I attend.

What made you first be interested in modeling?

I was actually found by a talent scout and requested to attend Barbizon Modeling School, and I fell in love with the camera. I absolutely love being in front of a camera and wearing elaborate costumes, and extravagant hair and makeup. Its like living a fairytale and fantasy for a few hours and having pictures to immortalize it.

What are a few of the clients you have modeled for?

I have modeled for many photographers and magazines. My favorites being: Gunnii Sack Photography, Photos By Shannon Daly, and The Perfect Exposure. These are some amazingly talented and wonderful people, and I love working with them.

Your modeling covers a very wide range of styles. From traditional to alternative. What types of modeling do you most enjoy?

My favorite styles to model are my CyberPunk gear and the more elaborate and elegant clothing: corsets, long skirts, trinkets, jewelry, ruffles, etc.

Originally you are from Germany but now live in the US? What brought you to the US?

I was actually born in the US, but I moved around a lot due to my first step-father being in The Army. I did grow up in Germany, beautiful country. We came to California and it has become my home. I have lived several places from Southern to Northern California.

Can you tell us about some of your other creative and artistic projects?

Oh, there are so many, haha. Well, I am writing a fantasy novel series loosely based on the events and characters in my life. I do art commissions ranging from paintings to sketches. I sing and dance, and I am currently brainstorming with a few other musicians to create a band. I design tattoos, and I am looking to get my own equipment and start my own tattooing business. I am also a makeup artist, which I do in side with my modeling. I make a lot of my own accessories, and will be selling them on my website once it goes up.

I know you HATE rap, hip hop, jazz and R&B. What music and bands do you like?

Haha, they just aren’t to my tastes. I love rock, alternative, metal, punk, industrial, sythpop, EBM, some country, ska, etc. There are so many genres to list. I have always loved Green Day, blink 182, OTEP, Aesthetic Perfection, Grendel, Hinder, Stone Sour, Slipknot, etc.

You are also a big fan of movies and love to quote lines from them. Can you tell us one of your favorite quotes and tell us a few of your favorite films?

Oh my, this could take awhile, haha. I am a movie person to the core. I watch movies constantly. I can quote entire movies: Grandma’s Boy, The Crow, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, The Labyrinth, etc. My all time favorite quotes would have to be:

“Just Fear Me.. Love me.. Do As I Say.. And I Will Be Your Slave…” – Jareth, The Labyrinth.

“True Love Never Dies” – The Crow

X-box or PS3? Apple or PC? Coke or Pepsi? oh, food. You love to cook and eat. Favorite foods?

Lol, i am a PlayStation Girl <3 I have a PC. I don’t like Cola, I drink Mountain Dew <3 I do love to cook, my favorite is baking sweets.

As your business grows and you continue to explore your creative side, what do you hope to accomplish and where do you hope to be in five years?

I hope to be well known for my modeling by then. I hope to be in a movie or two, have at least one of my novels finished and in print, to have my own tattoo shop or shop to sell my dread falls, accessories, my art, novels and other crafts. I also hope to have started my family by then, and have my children learn to express themselves just as I have and will continue to do.
