Fatiniza is a rock pop singer-cum-songwriter from Bucaramanga, Colombia. As a young girl, she would scribble down lyrics and hum melodies, which have matured into a gift to write great songs.

Her debut album ’Confusion’, which includes singles ‘Out of Control’, ‘The One’ and ‘Hard to be your woman’, features a powerful mix of rock & pop, and ‘Fortune Teller’, which echoes mystical Asia.

“Music is my life. Everything I do has a melody sewn into it and I just try to express this through my songs.” – Fatiniza

Currently residing in Dubai, Fatiniza continues to promote her debut release with a succession of live performances.

Since she emerged on the scene in Dubai, Fatiniza has worked the popular clubs to famous hotel resorts, high profile events and major music festivals in the UAE. She has also been shortlisted as one of the finalists for the upcoming Bite My Music Global Awards.

With her explosive live shows, Fatiniza has successfully established herself as the region’s most popular female artist, landing performances for the ruler of the UAE Sheik Khalifa Al Nayan, the ruler of Dubai Sheik Mohamed Al Maktoum, golfer Tiger Woods and football giants AC Milan.

Fatiniza also performed at the Formula 1 Grand Prix finals in Abu Dhabi, closing of the Brazilian parade and again supporting UK singer/songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae.

How would you best describe your music?

My music is radio friendly rock pop. It’s really catchy and makes you wanna tap your feet.

If you had a chance to perform anywhere in the world, where would that be and why?

El Campin stadium in Bogota, Colombia! Because this is my territory and it would be awesome to see and hear my people singing along to my songs.

If you had a chance to collaborate with any musician on the planet, who would it be and why?

Independent musicians of my local scene because then it would be a proper collaboration ;) . There are some incredibly talented musicians out there that need the support and have equally as much talent or much more as some known artists.

What would you like to be remembered for?

Being a fighter. Beating the system! Opening doors for the ones walking behind me.

You win a chance to open for your favorite act – what song would you perform and what would you do on stage?

One of my songs for sure, I think my debut song Out of Control. I would do a hell of a show! Fire! Ice… Lots of drama… Something really visually impressive

Have you championed any good cause? What are your plans to do more?

Yep! Paddle for the planet! A worldwide environmental organisation. I am the ambassador and wrote a song called ‘Today’ as an awareness call for everyone to realise how our marine environment is suffering. Planing to continue this until the message reaches everyone all over the world!

You’ve been asked to pose nude for a magazine and this is your best chance to gain publicity..would you do it?

Maybe half of body, you know something really artistic…but totally naked? No Way!

You look into the crystal ball and see your future? What does it say?

Its says I will be sitting on a porch on a rocking chair, old, listening to my own old tunes with my grandchildren on my lap and looking at the sea…:)

Money or fame? Why?

Money… anyone can be famous, and let’s face it, who can survive with only fame?

What is your biggest achievement to date?

My songs and music video on Colombian radio and TV and MTV Arabia.

What is your advice to up and coming musicians ?

File your claws and keep climbing! Don’t stop if this is what you want, no matter how many doors are shut in your face, there is always the one that will open and always support others like you did!
