Interview with Momo

Momo is a Japanese fetish model, and aspiring author living in Yokohama. Since her late teen, she developed a fascination with all things fetishist.

Combining the mediums of rope binding, fetish fashion and literature, Momo creates a beautifully dark world where her fantasies can become an indulgent reality.

Momo, its a pleasure to meet you! Could you tell us a little about your past and where you grew up?

You’re welcome. Yes of course, I was born in Yokohama, But I actually grew up in Fukuoka, Hyogo, and then moved back to Yokohama. My parents and grand parents grew up and lived in Nagasaki.

Were you always interested in expressing yourself through fashion?

Yes, I think so, that’s correct. To me fashion is absolute freedom and it doesn’t have any rules.

When was the first time you experimented in fetish modeling?

My very first time engaging as a fetish model was maybe around three years ago, when I was 19 years old. But I didn’t know at the time, that it was a self experiment as a fetish model. It was very similar to Cosplay at that time.

In your fetish photographs, I feel a sense of intimacy, how do you feel when you are modeling? What are you thinking at that moment in time?

It is difficult to answer that question. I feel I can’t express the way I feel in words. Fetishism is not only communicated through Eros, It is an Art.

You also enjoy being tied by rope, what attracts you to using rope?

Again, It is difficult to express, I feel happiness.

You also love to write. Is there a link or relationship between your writing and your fetish modeling?

Yes, that’s correct. I’m writing now, its about my fetish life. And I’m also lesbian, so I’m also writing about my love for a girl.

What are your plans for the future? Are there any other areas that you want to explore in fashion or the arts?

I cant visualize my future clearly, but I want to form a relationship between my fetishism, my novels, art and so on.
