Vistlip debuted with a mini-album “Revolver”in April, followed by three-consecutive-monthly single releases from September 2008. They possess a degree of perfection unlike that of a new-faced bands. With their somewhat wistful melodies, lyrics of distinct realism and soft, sweet vocals that can at times be passionate and flaming. vistlip dazzles the scene with their irreplaceable presence.

 

 

 

 

Glay

 

 

GLAY was formed in 1988 by high school friends, TAKURO and TERU.

In 1990, TAKURO and TERU joined by HISASHI moved to Tokyo. They soon added JIRO, who was then performing in another band to their line-up. They made their major label debut in 1994 with the EP “RAIN”.

In 1996, their second album “BEAT out!” debuted at number one on the Oricon Chart. Their greatest hits album “REVIEW” released in 1997 sold 5,000,000 copies, at the time the greatest selling album in Japanese chart history. Their stadium tour in 1998 drew a total of 500,000 people and their 1999 Dome tour 750,000. In July of 1999, 200,000 people gathered to a single concert, an attendance record at the Makuhari Messe.

 

On October 13, 2002, GLAY performed in Beijing, China, considered to be one of the most successful shows in the history of China.

In July of 2004, as part of the 10-year celebration of their debut, GLAY performed in front of 100,000 people at a special stage within Universal Studio Japan amusement park. They followed with a Dome tour in February of 2005.

In February of 2006 GLAY played at the legendary Budokan featuring a special center stage. In July, they released their first single in 19 months, “G4” and in January 2007, embarked on their tour “GLAY ARENA TOUR 2007 LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL“ releasing their album “LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL”. From November 2007, GLAY set off on a five-month tour “GLAY HIGHCOMMUNICATIONS TOUR 2007-2008” playing 52 shows in 42 cities throughout Japan. March of 2008 came the release of their digital single, “STARLESS NIGHT/-VENUS”.

GLAY’s mini-album “VERB” released on June 11th, ’08 contains the title track written during their tour along with “STARLESS NIGHT/-VENUS” and their rendition of the U2 song, “WITH OR WITHOUT YOU”.

To date, GLAY has sold over 56,000,000 Singles, CD’s, DVD’s and drew over 7 million people to their concerts.

 

 

 

MUCC
